Joy was such an amazing and special person to know. I met her through work, but, we became good friends outside of it. She might have been 50 years older than me, but when we were chatting and laughing it was like there was no age difference at all. I will always remember her with such a big smile, and I feel grateful she came into my life. She will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her, but I know we can all take comfort in remembering our time with her. She had a brilliant sense of humour, and her stories were always entertaining. What a legacy to leave behind, it's exactly what she would have wanted.
